Biography

Awad currently is Assistant Professor, Singapore Information Technology (SIT), Singapore, he was Assistant professor at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU-Asia), Singapore since March 2016. He has been working as instructor for more than 18 years, he was a manager of training in the Egyptian Aviation Academy (EAA) during the period 2009:2012, Freelancer Aviation instructor in the Middle East, Africa and the Far East, and in many Aviation academies/authorities e.g. Arab Air Carrier’s Organization (AACO), Arab Civil Aviation Commission (ACAC), Saudi Academy of Civil Aviation (SACA), Qatar Civil Aviation Authority (QCAA), …,etc. Awad also provides lectures for M.Sc. & PhD degrees and supervise many M.Sc. & PhD dissertation at Cairo University, he taught almost all over the world at university level and post graduates including Provisional programs, Diploma, Masters & PhD. He has received numerous instructional awards by Aviation Academies, Training centers, colleagues and students. Provisional: Awad Khireldin was working as General Manager of Air Traffic Management (ATM), at Cairo international airport (CAI),Egypt, he was vice head of operations sector for more than two years, he had joined the aviation industry for more than 23 years as Air Traffic controller, then airport operations officer, he has been selected by the Airport Council International (ACI) as a Safety Assessor for many Airports, and conducted many consultancies for many International airports related to Safety, Certification and Management . Education: Awad has a PhD in in Operations Research (Doctor in Operations Research), a master's degree (M.Sc. Modeling & Simulation), a post-graduate diploma in Operations Research (from ISSR, Cairo, Egypt) and B.Sc. from Alexandria, Egypt
