The City
London City, also known as the City of London or the Square Mile, is the historic and financial center of London, United Kingdom. It is a small area within Greater London, located in the southeastern part of the city. The City of London has a rich history dating back to Roman times. It is a separate ceremonial county and has its own Lord Mayor, distinct from the Mayor of London, who presides over the Greater London area. The city has its own governing body, the City of London Corporation, which oversees its operations. London City is a vibrant and bustling district, known for its financial prowess, historical significance, and cultural attractions. It is an integral part of London's identity as a global city.
